Day 34

The family arrived shortly after 4:00. Since Kelsey was getting a breathing treatment which required isolation, we ate at the Inn before seeing her. I cannot tell you what a relief it is for them to ALL be here. It is just awesome to be together. It took several hours before we were able to wake her up. Since then, we enjoyed singing in her room, telling some jokes, and making silly faces at her. She hasn't said more than I Love You which is fine with me. What great words to choose to say. She is great at copying faces and gets tickled at especially Konner. I'm getting ready to leave and ready the rooms for sleeping. Pray for another night without the tube. I don't rest at night with this hanging over us. I just hope that I can sleep enough to not get sick. Everyone is really exhausted so may tonight be restful for us all. May she get through another night. Come Lord! More Lord!
Love,
Mom

  2. Hello! You do not know me but my aunt, Jill Campbell, has been asking for prayer on her facebook. She posted a link to this blog and I just want you to know that I am praying and had our youth group pray for Kelsey tonight. I live in Lancaster, pa. I know we've never met, but I'm not too far away, I know it's got to be very hard to be away from family, so please, if there is anything you need, just let me know! John 16:33. 3. I am so excited about all of you being together. Sounds like you all are having a great time under difficult circumstances. I love how The Father gives us joy in some of the most trying times. Enjoy your time together and just know that The Great I AM is with you. The Sprowl family continues to believe for Kelsey's miracle. Love you all... -The Sprowls

  4. Dear Tammy,
    I've been following your blog for awhile now and check back often for more news each day. I want you to know that your family is such an AMAZING testimony of God's grace, and I have been greatly encouraged through every one of your posts. I'm so glad to hear that you're family is all together again. What a sweet blessing that must be. Please know that my family is constantly lifting up the name of Jesus on behalf of Kelsey--and each one of you!

    With love in Christ,

    Taylor R. from Texas

    "Hear my cry for help,
    my King and my God,
    for to you I pray.
    In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice;
    in the morning I lay my requests before you
    and wait expectantly."

    PSALM 5:2-3

    "When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
    when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet."

    PSALM 3:24

    Dear Lord, please give Kelsey and her family peace as they wait expectantly for Your miracle. May their sleep be sweet tonight! In Jesus' name, Amen.

  5. Praying X 3
    I have to share a "funny" with you. When Ruby-Kathleen was praying last night. She was praying so hard for Kelsey and Karly, she started saying Karsley. She said it several times before she noticed. She laughed and asked "Do you think God knows who I'm talking about?" I told her I was sure he knew.

    We three are extending our thoughts and prayers to you.

    We wish you peace.
    Jana, Chad and Ruby-Kathleen

  7. Tammy~

    I heard these two songs by Kari Jobe this morning and they made me think of Kelsey. I wanted to share a link to the YouTube videos so that you can share them with Kelsey if you feel led to do so. They are titled, "Healer" and "You are for Me".
