Had a very hard meeting with the doctors, but we made a plan that everyone is comfortable with. They will give her a breathing tube when they feel it is necessary. It actually was going to happen right after the meeting then she surprised me and everyone this afternoon. I woke her up right after the meeting. She engaged us, she talked, her eyes were open. We went through the gift box she received today from Brandi and family. The box of stuff was awesome. We went through every item, she approved! I loved everything...perfect stuff! In fact, she picked out the purple nail polish, and Steph painted her toenails. It gives her a focal point when she is awake. I don't know what will happen tonight or tomorrow morning before I get to her room, however, my desire would be for her to make it until tomorrow afternoon without the tube so I could wake her up in time for her family to engage her. We saw a "tiny miracle" today. More Lord! Come Lord! This is not something anyone has seen before. Her infection is extremely rare, the amount of areas infected in her brain are worse than they have ever seen. The recovery for this is not expected to be very good. What a perfect time for a miracle. It would certainly give God the glory. That is where we are at right now. Pray for the family as they see a very sick Kelsey. It will affect them. Praise God that everything just fell into place for everyone to come. Once again, Wabash College, Tyler's school amazed him today. Before he was called or he even read the blog this morning, his professors knew what was going on, contacted the Dean of the school who approached Tyler as he got to class this morning. They told him it was ok to go; they would deal with finals later. I hope Trent had as much success. We will soon be together...maybe 18 hours. Please pray for that miracle. Now is the time! It is crucial to see improvement soon. Thank you for all your prayers and encouragement. As always, we are so thankful.
Love,
Mom

Will be praying for the visit tomorrow afternoon.
ReplyDeleteMay the God of hope fill you with joy and peace as you trust in Him so you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Rm. 15:13).
During Saturday service at UC, I was praying for Kelsey, and God told me that He was going to take care of her. I have finally entrusted her to Him. I praise Him for His faithfulness and love. The Hearn family is still praying for miracles, Staci
Father in heaven, we praise you for the positive signs you gave the family today. We praise you that Kelsey was a little more alert and responsive. Nothing is impossible for you. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray that she will continue to improve each day. Lord, it doesn't matter in the least what the MRI's or scans show. You are the Great I AM! Regardless of what the scans show, Kelsey could be raised from that bed tomorrow if it's your will. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray that you will heal her body. We continue to lift her up before your throne. Lord, we ask that you give the family exactly what they need each and every day. We pray that they will rest in you and trust you no matt,er how Kelsey looks or how things seem. Give them strength, courage, hope and faith beyond their abilities. Lord Jesus, you are our everything and our all. You are worthy our Lord and God to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things and by your will they were created and have their being. You created Kelsey for your great pleasure. Have your way with her and continue to make your name great through this trial. Lord Jesus, you hold all things together. You hold Kelsey together. Her days were ordained ahead of time. We praise you Lord Jesus Christ, who was and is and is to come.
ReplyDeleteTammy, thank you so much for sharing this. We spent some time together as a family praying for Kelsey around 6:00 pm (central time) and we are continually praying for her and all of you.

So many are praying for a miracle. We love you all.
ReplyDeleteTammy,
ReplyDeleteI just heard about how Kelsey is doing on Sunday and have been praying for you and your family faithfully. Today I received a link from our coop emails. I was happy to get that so we can stay up to date with Kelsey. I know Kailee will be happy too! She has had a special place in her heart for Kelsey and Karly for about a year now. She is a prayer warrior at age 12! I'm so glad your family will be joining you. We are praying for a miracle. Heartland church in Fishers recently had a service called "Waiting 4 a Miracle". It was so good. They have their sermons on their website. It was encouraging to me.
Praying for strength, wisdom, comfort, healing and peace for your family.
